Lares Valley to Quillabamba 6D5N

Description.

 

Our tour through the valley of Lares bike will allow us to participate and interrelate with the environment of the region and the climate and altitude changes present in our tour, plus enjoy the changes in the Andean jungle to jungle.

 

ITINERARY:

DAY 1 Cusco - Pisac - Calca - Lares thermal baths. (45 KM)

7:45 a.m. pax Pick up from your lodging establishment.

8:30 a.m. begin our journey to the town of Pisac, where they will make acclimatization in the Sacred Valley making an excursion length of that valley. In our tour we will know the towns of Pisac, Calca and Urubamba.

We arrived at 1:00 p.m. town of Yucay where we have lunch.

2:00 p.m. continue our excursion to the town of Urubamba where we will stay in a specialized center camp.

7:30 p.m. food will be taken at the place of camping, rest early because the next day we have a long way to go.

 

DAY 2 Totora - Thermal Baths of Lares. (61 KM)

7:30 a.m.Tendremos a hearty breakfast.

8:00 a.m. Transfer passengers and equipment to the community of cattail (3860 m). From where we will climb to 18 Km. And then descend to Pampa (3740) where we take our food

2.00 p.m. continue our bicycle tour bound for the thermal baths of Lares (3270). Where we can enjoy the tranquilizad and existing thermal baths in place.

7:30 p.m. food will be taken at the place of camping, to rest early in the morning reboot our fascinating tour.

 

DAY 3 Lares - Riobamba (48 Km.)

8:00 a.m. We ate breakfast in the thermal baths of Lares.

9:00 am start our tour departing the towns of Chococancha, Manto and Qolqa, the relief is varied with slight slopes and fairly flat areas.

12:30 a.m. We take our food in the village of Qolqa.

02.00 p.m. continue our bicycle tour bound for the towns of Miraflores, Luylui, Cuichipata, Paltaibamba and Riobamba bridge (1250), where we is waiting for the campsite.

7:30 p.m. We take food at the place of camping, we rest early so the next morning we can continue the tour.

 

DAY 4 Riobamba - Chahuares (48 Km)

8:00 a.m. We ate breakfast in the town of Riobamba.

9:00 am start our tour departing populations Quebrada Honda, Rio Chancamato, Quesquento, Santiago. Where we will enter an exclusive bikeway; the terrain is varied with slight slopes and fairly flat areas.

12:30 a.m. We take our food. In Santiago.

02.00 p.m. continue our journey by bicycle to reach the village of Quellouno and Chahuares. where we is waiting for the campsite.

7:30 p.m. food will be taken at the place of camping, we will have to go to bed early the next morning continue with the interesting tour.

 

DAY 5 Chahuares - Quillabamba (30 Km)

8:00 a.m. We ate breakfast in the town of Chahuares.

9:00 am start our bike ride from Chahuares passing through the town of Echarati and 7 Tinajes.

We take our food 12:00 p.m. on 7 Tinajas

1:00 p.m. continue our journey arriving in the afternoon to the city of Quillabamba

5:15 pm Approximate time of arrival to the town of Quillabamba and we will be settling into a local accommodation.

 

DAY 6 Quillabamba - Malaga - Ollantaytambo (35 KM)

8:00 a.m. We will have breakfast in the town of Quillabamba.

9:00 am We begin with the transfer of passengers and equipment to the highest point Abra de Malaga (4200m) where we will start a descent to destination Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

12:00 p.m. We take our food in Ollantaytambo

02.00 p.m. We return to our private vehicle to the city of Cusco where we ended our wonderful tour.

- It is advisable to apply the yellow fever vaccine.
